Fix “PLEASE PUT THE CLAMPS ON” Error & Charge Batteries Below 1V: If the charger is powered on and the clamps are correctly connected to the battery terminals, but the screen still shows “PLEASE PUT THE CLAMPS ON,” this means the battery voltage is too low (below 1V) and cannot be detected. Press the “Recondition” button to activate the manual repair mode. If the battery responds, the charger will automatically begin charging after 30 seconds. Note: This feature does not work on completely dead batteries
