Q: What is the YakAttack ShortStak Upgrade Kit for the 16x16 BlackPak Pro? A: It’s an expansion layer designed to stack on top of your existing 16" x 16" BlackPak Pro, creating a second tier of gear storage while keeping deck footprint unchanged. Q: Is this a full crate or a lid replacement? A: It is not a standalone crate. This upgrade replaces the lid of your BlackPak Pro and shares structural elements to create an integrated two-layer system. Q: What comes in the package? A: Includes side and bottom panels, hinges, latches, catches, rubber bumpers, straps, and stainless steel mounting hardware. The lid is not included. Q: Will I still be able to mount accessories? A: Absolutely. Each panel features GridLoc screw bosses that work with Yak Attack accessories such as MightyMounts, Through Hull Wiring Kits, and TracPaks. Q: What are the dimensions and materials? A: Internal: 14.9" x 14.9" x 4.25"; External: 15.94" x 15.94" x 5.25". It weighs 4.2 lbs and is made in the USA from marine-grade injection-molded polymers.
