Follow these simple steps to set up your canopy safely—no instructions or videos required!
1. Unpack & Check All Parts
First, confirm your kit includes:
1 collapsible frame
1 waterproof Oxford cloth canopy
2 elastic straps
1 storage bag
Tip: Lay all parts on a flat surface (e.g., grass or boat deck) to avoid tangling.
2. Expand the Frame Gently (Critical Step!)
Ensure all frame hinge connections are fully locked.
Best with 2 people—one holds each end of the frame to avoid sudden spring-back.
Hold the frame’s straight ends and slowly pull them apart. The semi-circular top will naturally expand—DO NOT force or bend the poles sharply (this causes breaks!).
3. Attach the Canopy to the Frame, Pull the canopy tight over the frame

Locate the rod holders on your kayak (fits 9-11FT kayaks, ideal for 10FT Pelican models).
