BACKFLOW PREVENTION: The Watts 1” Bronze Anti-Siphon Pressure Vacuum Breaker Backflow Preventer provides the ultimate mechanical protection against cross-connection hazards. It is specifically designed to prevent the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to back-siphonage and/or backpressure.

COMPREHENSIVE FEATURES: This preventer is equipped with a silicone rubber check valve disc, replaceable plastic check valve seat, female NPT inlet and outlet connections, stainless steel springs, a bonnet with silicone rubber O-ring seal, a lightweight plastic disc float, quarter-turn lever handle shutoffs, and test cocks for winterization draining.

DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: This preventer is constructed with a highly durable bronze body with easy internal access for easy maintenance, ensuring long-lasting performance. It has a minimum operating pressure of 15 psi (55 kPa) and a maximum pressure of 150 psi (10.3 bar). It is ideal for use in health hazard continuous pressure applications, such as irrigation systems and industrial process water systems where the water enters the equipment at or below the flood rim.

FREEZE SENSOR: Includes a freeze sensor compatible with SentryPlus Alert technology, signaling facility personnel when temperatures near and reach freezing point. An optional freeze sensor connection kit is available to activate a monitoring system for low and freezing temperatures.
