EASY FINISH: Because this is a super strong material, we recommend using sharp, precise scissors for cutting the string. However, the thread can also be burned instead of snipping. A thread burner is easier to use and more precise. This method seals the ends, which prevents frayed edges or split ends.

Fireline comes in 5 sizes: 2lb. test strength with a .003”/.07mm diameter, 4lb. test with a .005”/.12mm diameter, 6lb. test with a .006”/.15mm diameter, 8lb. test with a .007”/.17mm diameter, 10lb. test with a .008”/.20mm diameters and 14lb. test with a .009”/.22mm diameter. The spools come in a variety of lengths and in 3 colors: clear, black and smoke grey. For stringing and weaving we suggest English beading needles.
