PlayStation 3 CECHA01 – Certified Refurbished (Good Condition)

The multi-generational powerhouse that revolutionized gaming with high-definition graphics and the legendary ability to play three generations of hits on one machine. This 60GB launch model (CECHA01) is the most sought-after PS3 ever made, featuring full hardware-based backwards compatibility. It has been professionally refurbished, tested, and cleaned to ensure 100% functionality. Jump back into the classics, ready to play right out of the box!

Understanding the CECHA01 (Differences from CECHE01)
The CECHA01 is considered the "Gold Standard" for backwards compatibility. Here is how it differs from the later CECHE01 model:

Full Hardware Compatibility: Unlike the CECHE01, which uses software emulation, the CECHA01 contains the actual Emotion Engine hardware from the PlayStation 2. This results in a much higher compatibility rate (99%+) and the most authentic gameplay experience.

Storage & Value: While it features a 60GB hard drive (compared to the 80GB in the E01), the internal hardware makes this the premium choice for collectors and purists who want the best PS2 playback possible.

Authenticity: This is the original launch-day configuration, designed to bridge the gap between generations without compromise.

Every PlayStation 3 CECHA01 console is fully inspected, tested, and verified to meet original factory standards, with special attention paid to the internal cooling system, disc drive, and all 4 USB ports.

Good cosmetic condition: You may notice small scratches or light scuffs on the glossy "Piano Black" finish typical of vintage hardware — these are purely cosmetic and won’t affect performance.

Each system is carefully cleaned, sanitized, and securely wiped for a fresh start.

Please note that due to the age of the original PlayStation 3 hardware, fan noise and thermal performance may differ from modern, fanless systems. This is part of the authentic experience of owning the most powerful console of its era.

Includes all essential accessories required for play. This console features the iconic chrome trim, 4 front-facing USB ports, and built-in flash media card readers (SD/CompactFlash/Pro Duo).

🎁 Whenever possible, we include extra items such as tester games or small bonus accessories — depending on available stock.
