OUTDOOR DURABILITY & INSTALLATION NOTICE — The valve assembly was laboratory-tested from -4°F to 176°F and showed no cracking or leakage under the specified test conditions. In freezing weather, shut off the upstream water supply and fully drain the outdoor faucet splitter to help prevent freeze damage inside the valve body. At approximately 1.29 lb, this heavy-duty solid brass hose splitter requires a sturdy, well-supported outdoor faucet; installation on plastic faucets is not recommended.
