This product contain 2 bulbs 2 ballasts and accessories for standard installation 9006 Xenon (HID) Conversion Kit Installation Instructions ⚠️ Safety First Turn off the vehicle and remove the key. Disconnect the negative battery terminal (HID ballasts use high voltage). Handle bulbs by the base only (never touch the glass). 1. Remove the Factory Halogen Bulb Open the hood and locate the 9006 bulb socket (low beam or fog housing). Disconnect the OEM wiring harness from the bulb. Rotate the bulb counter-clockwise and pull it out. 2. Install the HID/Xenon Bulb Take the new 9006 HID bulb out of the package. Without touching the glass, insert it into the housing. Align the locking tabs and twist clockwise until secure. 3. Connect the Ballast Connect the HID bulb wires to the ballast output connectors. Plug the car’s OEM 9006 socket into the ballast input. (Some vehicles may need a relay harness or CANBUS decoder to prevent flickering or error messages.) Mount the ballast inside the engine bay using screws, brackets, or zip ties. Keep it away from heat sources and moving parts. 4. Test and Finalize Reconnect the negative battery cable. Turn on the headlights: both bulbs should ignite. If one side doesn’t light, flip the input connector (polarity issue). After confirming, secure all wiring neatly with zip ties. Close the hood. ✅ Installation Complete Your 9006 HID kit is now installed. Bulbs take 10–20 seconds to warm up to full brightness. ⚠️ Extra Notes Daytime Running Lights (DRL): If your car uses DRL on the low beams, a relay harness may be needed. CANBUS systems: Many modern cars require decoders to avoid “bulb out” warnings. Headlight aiming: Always check and adjust beam alignment after installing HID to prevent glare.
