Package includes:1pcs 4 inches vent cap for dryer.1 pcs fabric screen.4 pcs screws. Intsall Wall Vents 1. Cut a hole for a wall vent cap in your home's exterior siding. The difficulty depends on the material you have to cut through. If your house has a brick or stone facade, it's best to incorporate the vent into an existing opening, such as a foundation vent. Consult a builder if you aren't sure how to proceed. 2. Draw the outline of the extension pipe of the wall vent on the siding and cut around the outline with a reciprocating saw. Check the other side of the wall for any wires or pipes first. 3. Slide the extension pipe through the hole. Fit the vent cap over the pipe and set it flush against the flange on the front of the vent outlet. Insert 1 1/4-inch screws through the cap and the flange and drive them into the siding with a screwdriver. Caulk around the flange with silicone caulk. 4. Route the dryer vent pipes to the opening, hanging them from rafters or joists as needed with plastic duct hangers. Slide the pipe outlet over the vent inlet and secure it with a 4-inch pipe clamp. Tighten the clamp with a screwdriver. Reinforce the joint with foil-faced duct tape. Installation Tips: Disconnect your machine from all its power source before starting the repair.
