UNCOUPLING MEMBRANE THAT STOPS CRACKS: Wood and concrete substrates expand and contract with temperature and humidity. This membrane lets the substrate move underneath while the tile stays still on top, which is the whole reason a crack isolation layer exists.

MOISTURE BARRIER UNDER TILE AND PLANK: The sheet blocks vapour rising out of a slab before it reaches the floor covering, so it works under ceramic and porcelain tile and as an underlayment for vinyl plank and LVP in a basement, bathroom or kitchen.

EASY TO INSTALL WITH THIN SET: Trowel thin set onto the substrate, lay the membrane in, press it down, then tile straight over the top. No special tool and no primer. A 3.3 foot by 98.5 foot roll covers 323 square feet.
