This is a perfect size perfect lane to extend the chain to your trailer. It worked out great

This is the perfect accessory for your trailer if you added a drop hitch. you needed to add a short extension to your wiring harness. It didn't seem like much when installing the drop hitch, but when you went to connect the chains and wire harness, that there would be issues turning sharp corners or backing up. The length is perfect for my change in hitch distance. you will have no question that these will work properly in the event the trailer comes disconnected from the hitch.

Did the trick to extend the trailer chains. safety cable extensions boat trailer short safety cable trailer safety cable extension 8 inch

Good extenders for adjustable hitch,Absolutely Necessary for Tow Bar, Arms and Baseplates

If you use a hitch extension these are a must,8,000 pound capacity.

Safe and Secure: Safety cables are used to connect the trailer to the vehicle to ensure trailer safety If you pull the trailer a lot, and not all safety chains are long enough at the extended hitch, as that would keep the tongue away from the hitch. Our cables are coated to minimize wear and tear. The compression ring is long enough to ensure adequate holding power. Adding quick connects to the combo actually adds to the “weak link”.
