When connected to a 110V or 120V AC power supply, the solenoid coil energizes to open the valve; the moment power is removed, an internal spring returns the valve to the closed position, preventing unintended flow.
Built with an industrial-grade stainless steel body, this valve resists corrosion and mechanical wear even in wet, high-pressure, or chemically active environments. The Viton seal provides exceptional durability at elevated temperatures and maintains a reliable seal across the full operating pressure range of 0.1 to 10 bar (up to 145 PSI). The operating temperature range of -10 to 120 degrees C makes it appropriate for cold water supply lines, hot water circuits, compressed air systems, and diesel fuel shut-off applications.
The 1/2 inch NPT threaded inlet and outlet ports connect directly to standard American pipe fittings without adapters, simplifying installation in existing plumbing or pneumatic circuits. A clearly marked directional arrow on the valve body ensures correct installation orientation. For extended service life, the valve should not be energized continuously for more than 8 hours.
