Protect & Stabilize: This 2-1/3" escutcheon backplate provides a wide structural base for knobs and pulls, protecting door surfaces from scratches and wear while concealing existing holes or damage.

Premium Zinc Construction: Expertly crafted from high-quality die-cast zinc and finished with advanced PVD titanium gold coating, offering superior durability compared to traditional electroplating. The PVD process creates a denser, harder surface that delivers long-lasting color stability, enhanced scratch resistance, and excellent corrosion protection.

Universal Dimensions: Features a 2-1/3 inch diameter (1/10" thickness) with a 1/4 inch center hole. Perfectly sized for standard round knobs used on bifold, hinged, or sliding closet doors.

Modern Aesthetic: The brushed gold/brass finish adds a timeless, sophisticated touch that complements both traditional and contemporary interior designs.

Easy DIY Upgrade: Quickly update your cabinetry or bifold doors. These rosettes sit behind your existing hardware; simply unscrew the knob, place the backplate, and re-tighten.

Design Element: Beyond functionality, backplates contribute to the overall design aesthetic. From minimalist circular plates to ornate vintage styles, they complement the knob's design and can tie together the visual theme of a room or device. Customization: Want to add a personal touch? Backplates offer an opportunity for customization. Whether painting them to match a color scheme or opting for unique shapes and textures, they allow for creativity in design. Historical Significance: In antique furniture restoration, backplates are vital for maintaining authenticity. They provide clues about the era and style of the piece, aiding in accurate restoration and preserving its historical value.
