Professional grade UV filter at a DIY value. Designed with performance, cost of ownership, and simple maintenance in mind. Green water is a thing of the past with this powerful unit. Passing water receives maximum UV exposure when forced by a high-output T8B lightbulb. Integrated union couplers allow for simple maintenance and installation. The no tools required removable end caps make changing the bulb or cleaning the quartz sleeve a simple task. The UltraUV Pro channels pond water past the ultra long bulb, maximizing exposure to high-output UV light. The ultraviolet rays kill an algae bloom and clear pond water before exiting the unit and proceeding to a biological filter or back to the pond. UV clarifiers work best on ponds that suffer from excessive algae and poor water quality caused by full sun exposure. Includes 10' power cord and a variety of fittings. The included UV bulb has a 9,000-hour lighting lifespan. Clean the quartz sleeve / tube periodically during the season to ensure proper illumination. Be sure to match the correct water pump and flow rate for your UltraUV Pro model of UV pond cleaner, as well as pond tubing. The UltraUV Pro is perfect to reduce algae in an outdoor water garden, fish pond, large fountain, waterfall, or water feature. Okay for use with pond equipment, including filters, aeration, skimmers, pumps, waterfalls or fountains. Will not harm your skimmer, aerator, filter, clarifier, fountain, purifier, ionizer, or accessories. When used as directed, UV lights are safe for any animal, frog, goldfish, koi (sometimes called coi or koy), bird, duck, turtle, pet, plant, or plant.
