We’ve tried so many kinds of mattresses, air mattress, foam mattress, airfoam mattress. Air mattress could be really annoying with all the noises, and it takes so much effort to inflate and deflate. Airfoam mattress sounds smart, however, it makes the mattress even more uncomfortable to sleep on. So we pin down the foam mattress. A lot of people are saying foam mattress’s foam is too soft. That’s because for the sake of the storage convenience, the foam can’t be hard. Hard means not compressible. Then it’s not possible to put the carry case into the frunk. We tried everything to find a balance between foam support and foam compressibility.

We use two kinds of foams to ensure it will be supportive while it still can be compressed to the storage bag and be stored in the model Y frunk. But pls note that since we make the mattress supportive, we have to use the high-density foam which means it will be harder to compress the foam. So when pack the mattress, it's not woman-friendly as it needs some strength to push the foam into the bag. We also make the bag a cooler.
