Sxoofwork Diatomaceous Earth Drying Mat for Counter, 24 x 16 in, Dark Gray — Open-Box, 5% Off

【Soaks up water fast】The porous diatomaceous earth pulls moisture off wet dishes in seconds, so your counter stays dry instead of collecting the puddles a silicone or cloth mat tends to leave behind

【Fits a full load】The 24 by 16 inch surface holds plates, mugs, glasses, and cutlery all at once, and shallow grooves keep the runoff on the mat instead of spreading across your countertop

【Steady and quick to dry】Four stainless steel feet raise the mat off the counter so air moves underneath and it dries evenly, while the transparent non-slip pads keep it from sliding and protect the surface from scratches

【More than a dish mat】Use it by the sink, as a fast-dry pad in the bathroom or laundry area, or as a feeding mat for your cat or dog, with the same fast-drying surface in every spot

【Food-grade, in two finishes】Made from food-grade diatomaceous earth with no plastic and offered in dark gray and light gray; wipe before first use, let it air dry, and keep dark liquids like coffee and red wine off the top, since they can stain the stone

This Sxoofwork drying mat is cut from natural diatomaceous earth, the porous mineral that pulls water out of the air. Set a rinsed plate on it and the surface wicks the moisture away in seconds, so you are not left with a wet ring on the counter the way a silicone or microfiber mat usually is. It measures 24 by 16 inches, enough room for a full sink's worth of plates, bowls, mugs, and utensils. Shallow grooves run across the top to catch any runoff, and four stainless steel feet raise the mat just off the counter so air reaches the underside and it dries evenly. The non-slip pads keep it from sliding and protect the surface underneath. It is not only for dishes. People use it under the soap dispenser by the sink, as a fast-drying pad in the bathroom or laundry room, or as a feeding mat for cats and dogs. The dark gray finish stays quiet in a modern kitchen. Before the first use, wipe the surface with a damp cloth to clear any loose mineral dust, then let it air dry somewhere with airflow. One thing worth knowing: dark liquids like coffee and red wine can stain the stone, so wipe those spills up quickly.
