This Demco breakaway cable assembly is sized to fit a range of different hydraulic surge brake actuators offered by Demco. The breakaway cable is an important safety component on a surge brake actuator, as it allows the braking system to engage and push hydraulic fluid to your trailer brakes in the event that your trailer becomes  disconnected from the tow vehicle. The cable is 3/32 inch thickness and is 44 inches long overall, with an S-hook to allow for connection to your truck's tow hitch. This cable fits Demco's DA91, DA10, DA16, and DA20 actuators.
