Description
4-STAGE RO SYSTEM: SED sediment filter reduces large particles to protect the other cartridges. The CB carbon filter utilizes coconut shell solid block activated carbon to protect the RO membrane from harsh chlorine and other chemicals. The RO reverse osmosis membrane reduces harmful particulates and impurities in water down to 0.0001 micron, including total dissolved solids (TDS), heavy metals, sodium chloride, copper, chromium, lead, and more. The final stage is a DI deionization filter.
DEIONIZATION FILTRATION: Fourth stage DI cartridge employs mixed-bed, indicator resin for enhanced filtration of TDS (total dissolved solids). A 2:3 ratio of cation and anion resins assists in near complete reduction of ions from water including sodium, sulfate, copper, and more. Color-changing green media turns purple when exhausted, letting you know it’s time for a cartridge changeout. Deionization filtration produces pure water faster, more efficiently, and more affordably than distillation.
HIGH FLOW: Unlike other reverse osmosis systems, SpiroPure countertop RO systems come with a high-flow 150 GPD membrane, the highest water flow rate that can be currently achieved at this RO membrane cartridge size.
VERSATILE INSTALL: This portable RO water filter with deionization can be wall-mounted or placed upon your countertop, making it a great choice for aquariums or Apartment RO applications. Get practically purified water for your aquarium, spot free-cleaning for cars, streak-free cleaning for windows and other glass, CPAP machines, humidifiers, neti-pots, and more.
EASY INSTALL: This RO system comes mostly pre-assembled to save time, not only with pre-installed mourning brackets, but each filter cartridge already has the quick-connect fittings for easier installation. Color-coded hoses help you in knowing which line goes to what port. The package also includes wall mount brackets and screws, as well as two faucet adapters (3/4" standard garden hose connections and 1/2" connections for select kitchen faucets).
The SpiroPure RO400AQD Portable Reverse Osmosis System with Deionization Filtration installs easily in minutes on your countertop or as a wall-mount RO system. The perfect choice for aquariums, as an apartment RO system, or for other applications, such as CPAP machines, spot free-cleaning for cars, streak-free cleaning for windows and other glass, and more. 4-stage system includes one sediment filter, carbon block filter, RO membrane, and DI deionizing filter cartridge for premium countertop RO water filtration. For use with cold water applications only.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.
Why buy refurbished or open-box?
Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $9 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.
What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?
Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.
Why use OpenBoxFox?
Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for SpiroPure products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.
Is it safe to buy refurbished?
Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
