The device supports standard MP4 and MOV formats up to 1080p (1920x1080). It does not support 4K videos. If you shot your video in 4K on a newer phone, please use a free computer tool like HandBrake to convert it to "Fast 1080p30". It will play perfectly! Q: Can I use videos recorded on my iPhone? A: Yes! Standard iPhone .mov files are compatible. Just drag and drop them directly into the device via your computer. Vertical videos (9:16) will automatically display with black bars on the sides to preserve the image quality. Q: I want to clear all the files. Can I format the drive? A: DO NOT FORMAT THE DEVICE. Formatting will completely erase the internal system software and render the box unusable.
