It recognizes over 10,000 species and logs each visit in the app. The camera also records bird sounds through a built-in microphone, so you can hear what's happening at the feeder along with the video. The feeder is solar powered. The solar roof charges the battery continuously, and a full charge lasts up to 6 months. A USB charging cable is included if you need to top up manually. The camera angle is fixed and cannot be adjusted after mounting, so position the feeder facing the direction you want to capture before tightening it down. To refill, flip the roof panel to the side and pour seed in from the top. No parts to remove or disassemble. For cleaning, wipe down the feeding tray and housing with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging the camera or solar panel in water. To keep the camera lens clear, wipe it gently with a dry microfiber cloth when needed.
