Compatibilty: The HawkLock quick release cage is custom designed for Canon R6 Mark III / R6 Mark II to reduce arm load and increase stability during handheld shooting, while offering a wide range accessory mounts. It includes a cage, a cable clamp, a top handle and a side handle. Then used with R6 Mark II camera, please purchase cable clamp 2981B separately.
HawkLock Quick Release System:The cage featuring SmallRig's patented "HawkLock" quick release system,H21 NATO rail interfaces on the top and both sides, which supports one-touch self-locking with bidirectional mounting, enabling rapidly assembly and disassembly without tool .It allows for quick attachment of top handles (ID 5632, 5633, 4483, 4485, 3766), monitor mounts (ID 4487), or magic arms (ID 4489).
Quick Switch: The R6 Mark III cage bulit in quick release plate for Arca-Swiss, enables direct mounting onto tripods for Arca-type (ID 4060, 4353) and for DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Mini, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, and RS 4 Pro gimbals, facilitating seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups. Note:Not compatible with the DJI RS 4 Mini gimbal!!!
Top Handle & Cable Clamp: The cage kit come with ergonomic top handle with silicone padding enhances ensures a comfortable and stable handheld shooting experience. The cable clamp for HDMI & USB-C securely fastens with a single thumbscrew, preventing signal interruptions and ensuring stable signal transmission.When used with Cage 5955, the Canon R6 Mark II is incompatible with the included cable clamp. SmallRig Basic Cage Kit for Canon EOS R6 Mark III / R6 Mark II (Advanced Edition) 5956 is designed to reduce arm load and increase stability during handheld shooting, while offering a wide range accessory mounts. It includes a cage, a cable clamp, a top handle and a side handle. The kit has incorporated HawkLock quick release interfaces for swift and secure mounting. It features the H21 quick release NATO rail, H38 quick release plate for Arca, 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 locating holes for ARRI , cold shoe mount, NATO rails, QD interfaces, strap slots, and more for attaching monitors, microphones, tripods, follow focus systems, handles, and other accessories to enhance video content creation in various scenarios. The cage secures the camera in place with a single 1/4"-20 screw at the base and two locating blocks on the sides, incorporating built-in silicone pads to prevent scratches on the camera. The built-in quick release plate for Arca enables seamless mounting on tripods (ID 4353, 4060) and for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers, facilitating swift transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups. The top handle feels comfortable and enables easy carrying and at low-angle shot. The side grip features a silicone insert for better grip and more stable two-handed shooting. The cable clamp securely fastens with a single thumbscrew, preventing signal interruptions and ensuring stable signal transmission. In addition, holes on both sides of the cage allow attaching hand straps. he cage comes with built-in magnetic flat-head screwdriver & hex spanner that facilitate disassembly and assembly.
Precautions:
1.Remove the side locating blocks on both sides of the cage before mounting.
2.Not compatible with DJI RS 4 Mini gimbal.
3.When used with Cage 5956 the R6 Mark II is incompatible with the included cable clamp. For this configuration, please purchase cable clamp 2981B separately.
