Description
Extra Resistance to curing inhibition - Defiant 25 can resist sulfur poisoning due to UV Resin much better than common platinum silicone. With just 30 minutes of curing the printed part submerged in water, Defiant 25 can cure without issues. No coating is needed. Defiant silicone clear mold works best with our Fast, Build, Blu, Easy, and Sculpt resins.
Strong and Durable - Compared with others, Siraya Tech Defiant 25 clear silicone mold making has better flexibility and stronger tear resistance, and silicone molds have a longer life span and can be reused many times. More pulls per mold mean lower cost per cast. This silicone rubber can resist temperatures up to 200C.
Thin Viscosity - Defiant 25 is Easy to pour and degas compared to other 25A silicone. It is thinner and thus making the entire process simpler even for beginners. You do not need an expensive professional vacuum chamber to remove bubbles and with a good pouring technique, you can get a bubble-free cure.
Versatile & Food Safe - Defiant 25 from Siraya Tech, a food-safe platinum silicone, excels in both food and craft applications. Perfect for molds of candy, chocolate, cake, and ice, it also suits resin, wax, candle, and soap molds, casting, architectural detailing, and figure making. Its balanced hardness and flexibility make it ideal for diverse molding tasks and DIY projects.
Easy Mixing Ratio 1A:1B - Defiant 25 mold making silicone rubber is easy to mix, mixing ratio of 1:1, self-degassing, and very easy to use. This liquid silicone mold can be easily used by beginners without any experience. Please feel free to contact us if there's any issue.
Product Note:
Defiant was developed with help from many prop-making professionals with the goal of reducing the complexity of post-processing while increasing the rate of successful silicone curing as high as possible. After going through at least 30kg of silicones for testing, we have found the right combination. We dedicate Defiant silicone to many propmakers in our community who have helped us to grow.
What makes platinum silicone poisoning a tough nut to crack is that the issue is not caused only by just 3D printing resin but also due to how the silicone is made. This means to get the best results, one would want to find the right combination of silicone and resins. Defiant 25 is designed to be much more tolerant than common platinum silicone, but some resins are just better in terms of working with silicone and require a lot less post-processing.
Resin selection and post-processing (critical for working with 3D UV resin prints)
Many of you select Defiant 25 because you want to use it with 3D printing UV resin. Defiant 25 works best with our Build resin, followed by Fast resins since no coating is no needed. Using those resins with Defiant 25 silicone, we recommend the following steps:
Step 1, Right after printing. Clean with 90%+ IPA or Ethanol to remove the uncured resin either by ultrasonic or by hand.. Use of hair-based brush can really help on thicker resins. Ultrasonic bath should be about 5 minutes. You may want to use 2 bathes, one dirty bath and then one clean bath. The key is to remove all uncured resins from the print.
Step 2, Dry completely, best to use a hairdryer in this process.
Step 3, Find a clean bucket, pour water and submerge the print in water.
Step 4, Cure the submerged print with water for 30 minutes while it is submerged in water. Do not use the sun for curing, best to use a UV curing light fixture.
Step 5 Dry the print completely. Best to use a low heat oven to assist. (set to 45C for 10 minutes) And the print is ready for use with Defiant 25 silicone.
We cannot guarantee performance when using Defiant 25 with other resins, including 3rd party resins. They may work with Defiant but we do not have test data for it.
A hardness index of Shore A 25.
Has good resistance to silicone poisoning, especially due to UV resin. Defiant requires a lot less post-processing to make mold cure properly.
Good balance of hardness and flexibility for general molding applications.
Share the same great material strength of a standard platinum silicone including tear strength and heat resistance.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.
Why buy refurbished or open-box?
Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $5 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.
What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?
Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.
Why use OpenBoxFox?
Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for Siraya Tech products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.
Is it safe to buy refurbished?
Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
