SIERRA Offroad TJ soft tops are designed as exact fit factory replacements. Earlier model (1997-2002) Wrangler frames are not the same size as later model (2003-2006) frames. Although the "one-size-fits-all" approach for 1997-2006 Wranglers makes it easier for the distributor supply chain, because of fewer part numbers, it requires the owner to compromise on the fit. Sierra Offroad takes a different approach. Sierra provides great fitting Tops designed to the original factory frame by model year.
Sierra Offroad tops are designed by the same master pattern makers that produce the patterns for their Rolls Royce and Bentley tops. Hundreds of hours were spent in making sure their tops fit exactly to the year and model. No "one size fits all" compromises. And, special attention was paid to ensure that all the best OEM features are included. SIERRA uses only the highest quality materials and hardware and their engineers continuously monitor the production process to make sure exacting standards are being met. This attention to detail insures that a SIERRA OFFROAD top will provide years of trouble free service.
With this 1997-2002 Wrangler TJ soft top you get the genuine factory style replacement product, plus full manufacturer warranty and support. This soft top fits directly on your factory-original hardware so no new hardware is needed. Constructed from specialty fabric that stretches for fast installation and returns to its original shape for tautness. It allows you to open your tailgate without opening the rear window. These are for TJ's with soft upper doors. Black Denim Vinyl is the original material for the 1997-2002 TJ Wrangler.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.
Why buy refurbished or open-box?
Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $126 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.
What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?
Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.
Why use OpenBoxFox?
Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for Sierra Offroad products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.
Is it safe to buy refurbished?
Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
