INSTALLATION STEPS
1. Remove or cut the plastic wire tie that holds the power wires in place. (If you have it on the motor )
2. Carefully pull out the power cord where it plugs into the motor. Pull only on the plastic connector, not the wires. Your fingers or a small screwdriver can be used to release it. Once the plug is out, there is no power to the motor.
3. Use a wrench to remove the three bolts that hold the motor in place. When removing the last bolt, be careful not to twist the motor forcefully to avoid damage to the gear.
4. If the new one doesn't have a gear, gear post, and washers, you'll have to move them from the old motor. Be sure to get everything in the same order. You may want to clean them before moving them and need to apply new grease.
5. Reinstall the new motor according to the original assembly. You may need to move the steps slightly to get the gears to line up, fix the bolts, and then power on, it can work.
