Center Pipe Connection

It is normal for the two pool sand filter center pipes to have the same connection diameter (with a slight sloping side), and the connection can be knocked down with a tool or by holding the connection point, and the tight connection can keep the pool filter water pipe working steadily in strong water flow

1.Shut off pump and relieve tank pressure before opening

2.Remove the filter head and old pipe; vacuum out residual sand if needed

3.Seat the new hub on the stand-pipe base and unfold laterals to horizontal

4.Drop the assembly into the tank

5.Fill tank halfway with water before adding sand to cushion the lateral arms

6.Refit the valve head, tighten the clamp, then rinse → backwash → filter to purge dust

Prevention Tip: Always remove all sand from the tank before extracting the old assembly, and fill the tank 1/3 with water before adding new sand to cushion the lateral arms and prevent impact damage
