ATP player and coach developed our Originals to have a focused frequency range so the feel can be similar to traditional dampeners while actually providing pain reduction. Ultrasoft V3 Dampeners are bit more sticky due to more Sorbothanes being used to have broader frequency range that has a softer feeling that can lead to better results for pain relief. Ultrasofts will have a softer "pop".

Due to the differences in the vibration frequencies in different rackets and strings, players that are sensitive to the equipment changes can feel pain in their wrist, elbow and their shoulders. Shocksorb may help reduce the bad frequencies of the vibrations and shock generated by the ball striking the strings of the racket. In addition to being visco-elastic, Sorbothane also has a very high damping coefficient. Sorbothane combines shock absorption, good memory, vibration isolation and vibration damping characteristics. While many materials exhibit one of these characteristics, Sorbothane combines all of them in a stable material with a long fatigue life. Sorbothane has a low creep rate compared to other polymers (rubber, neoprene, silicone, etc.) Sorbothane has a superior damping coefficient, over a very wide temperature range, compared to any other polymer.
