Reaction Tackle Lead Core Trolling Fishing Line, Multi-Color 18 lb, 200 yd — Open-Box, 35% Off
Brand: Reaction Tackle
Description
DEPTH CONTROL: Sinks fast to put your bait in the strike zone while trolling; ideal for walleye, trout, and salmon in lakes, reservoirs, and deep freshwater.
METERED COLOR CHANGE: Color changes every 10 yards so you can count colors to set and repeat an exact running depth; dial in the bite and stay there cast after cast.
LEAD CORE CONSTRUCTION: A weighted core inside a braided outer sheath gives this trolling line a fast, controlled sink rate without added weights or downriggers.
STRONG AND DURABLE: The braided outer sheath resists abrasion and breakage and reduces line twist for smooth, reliable trolling performance trip after trip.
SIZES AND USE: Available in 12, 18, 27, and 36 pound tests in 100 and 200 yard lengths; pair with a fluorocarbon or monofilament leader for a clean presentation.
Reaction Tackle Lead Core Trolling Line is built to get your bait down to the fish and keep it there. This weighted trolling line sinks fast and lets you control depth precisely while trolling for walleye, trout, salmon, and other freshwater species. The metered outer sheath changes color every 10 yards, so you can count colors to find the depth that produces and return to it again and again. BENEFITS - Fast, controlled sink rate for precise depth presentation while trolling - Metered color change every 10 yards for repeatable depth setting - Reaches deeper water without added weights or downriggers - Braided outer sheath for strength, abrasion resistance, and reduced line twist FEATURES - Lead core construction with a braided outer sheath - Color changes every 10 yards for easy depth counting - Diameter by pound test: 12 lb (.54mm), 18 lb (.63mm), 27 lb (.75mm), 36 lb (.85mm) - Available lengths: 100 yards and 200 yards USE CASES - Trolling for walleye, trout, and salmon in lakes and reservoirs - Reaching and holding a target depth without downriggers - Spring and fall freshwater trolling programs SINK RATE GUIDE Sink rate varies with current, lure weight, and boat speed. As a guide when trolling a 1 ounce lure, expect about 5 to 6 feet of sink per color at 1 to 1.5 mph, 4 to 5 feet at 2.0 mph, and 3 to 4 feet at 2.5 mph. Add about a quarter foot per extra quarter ounce of lure, and subtract a quarter foot per quarter ounce below 1 ounce. NOTES - A thermocline can change the sink rate once you reach it - Sink rates are similar across pound tests because larger diameters weigh more but also have more drag - If using a leader, a fluorocarbon or monofilament leader works well; pinching the core out of the last several inches before you tie helps the knot seat evenly AVAILABLE COLORS - Multi-Color metered (color changes every 10 yards) AVAILABLE SIZES - 12 lb, 18 lb, 27 lb, and 36 lb in 100 yard and 200 yard lengths
