Exclusively from Liquid Audio, this bundle comes with the Radial Engineering J48 Premium Phantom Powered Active Direct Box, Pig Hog Mic Cable and a Liquid Audio polishing cloth, ensuring your audio equipment's appearance and performance are maintained and to keep your gear clean and polished! The J48 is a high performance active direct box for live concert touring and professional recording studio applications, with the ability to handle extreme transients without distortion while delivering the natural sound of your instrument. Most battery-powered guitars and basses will produce as much as 7 Volts when played at maximum volume, which can easily overload typical active direct boxes which are able to handle about 3 Volts. The J48 uses a unique switching power supply that raises the internal rail voltage so it can handle up to an incredible 9 Volts, resulting in improved signal handling and greater headroom. This additional headroom significantly reduces distortion of all types, allowing the natural tone and character of the instrument to shine through. Exceptional headroom and dynamic range ensure that your audio performance is of the highest quality. The Radial J48 retains the natural sound of the instrument, preserving the nuance and character that make it unique. A Merge switch allows for the summing of stereo instruments to mono, offering added flexibility in your setup. Best of all, the unit is powered by 48V phantom power, eliminating the need for batteries. This combination of features ensures that both your equipment's appearance and audio performance are maintained at the highest level.
