Unlike traditional fluorinated ski and snowboard waxes manufactured with chemicals that are harmful to humans and damaging to the environment, biodegradable Purl Wax Blue is made with non-toxic ingredients free of fluoros, and absolutely NO PFC.
Hot Waxing
Using a ski-waxing iron (not included), hold the Purl Cold Weather wax block against the hot iron to melt (approx. 240°-260°F, iron temperature settings may vary). Allow wax droplets to cover the entire surface of the snowboard's or ski's base. Next, iron board to spread the wax in a thin layer. After that, scrape and buff to remove excess wax.
