Powerstix drumsticks for Kids are made in the UK from strong and durable materials, specially engineered for small hands. These kids’ drumsticks work especially well on electronic drums for kids or adults, and they also work well on acoustic drums. These sticks won't chip or splinter like conventional wooden sticks, and as they are made from food-safe materials they are extremely safe to use. Another advantage of using high grade plastic is that they offer an easy wipe-clean surface to save from build-up of grime and dirt from constant use. The sticks have an oval tip and gentle taper to offer a reassuring rebound and balance, making them extremely easy to use and perfect for using first before transitioning to wooden sticks later. Powerstix Kids come in two sizes, Big Stars and Little Stars. The Big Stars drumsticks are 14.5 inches long, which makes them perfect for 8–12-year-olds. The first level for adult sticks is usually 15.5 inches, so at 14.5 inches these sticks are easier to handle and will reduce potential wrist pain and increase speed and response. The Powerstix Kids Little Stars drumsticks measure 13 inches in length which we have found, after extensive experimentation, work extremely well for 4–8-year-olds. The 7A diameter and shorter length make these much easier to handle for younger hands, with less issues with movement and agility.
