Description

Include 2 Filters: Compatible with 3M Aqua-Pure AP217, 5578604 systems. These are full flow replacement water filters. For optimal taste, it is recommended to drain 3 to 5 gallons of water prior to use. Depending on the quality of your water and usage, it is advised to replace the filter every 6 months or after filtering 2000 gallons of water.

Durable & Safe Materials: The pre-filter is made from a blend of melt-sprayed spun polypropylene filter media, PP cotton, and PE cotton. It features a grooved structure and offers long-lasting, graded density depth filtration. The post-filter is crafted from natural coconut shell activated granular carbon. The cartridge’s design is versatile, allowing it to be used in both chlorinated (municipal) and non-chlorinated (well water) systems.

Fresh and Clean Drinking Water: Enjoy fresh and clean drinking water with our dual-action filtration system. The first stage features a fluted surface that captures larger particles. This is followed by a second stage that utilizes granular activated carbon in a radial flow design. With a filtration capability of 0.5 microns, it effectively reduces sediment, dirt, rust, and odors, providing you with better tasting water.

No Noise and Easy Installation: The PERCOLA AP217 Insert Cartridge offers a noiseless and straightforward installation process, saving you both time and effort. The filter’s top is made of high-impact rigid polypropylene, ensuring it matches the original brand filter’s design and specifications for perfect compatibility. Its compact design guarantees an easy, leak-free operation and installation. Please remember not to over-tighten the filter during replacement.

Cost-effective and Economical: Why pay four times more for a brand name? As the old adage goes, “A penny saved is a penny earned.” Opting for the PERCOLA AP217 Insertion Water filter allows you to enjoy the same quality as that of a name brand, but at a much lower cost, without compromising on quality.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $3 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for PERCOLA products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
