How the Dual-Cyclone System Works Debris-filled air enters the cyclone chambers and begins rotating at high speed. The swirling airflow pushes heavier particles toward the outer walls, where they lose momentum and fall into the collection tank. The air then passes through a second cyclone stage for additional separation before reaching the HEPA filter. This staged process reduces the debris load placed directly on the filter. With less buildup restricting airflow, the filter requires less frequent cleaning and the vacuum is better able to maintain strong pickup performance throughout longer jobs.
