Description

DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: Premium rubber rectangle ear muffs with flexible water lines and watertight seals built to flush, cool, warm and winterize your engine. Works as a standalone flusher or as part of a complete winterizing kit.

FITS MOST OUTBOARD ENGINES: Rotating ears and U-channel design adapt to virtually any outboard and inboard I/O engine including Mercury, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Evinrude models. No tools or modifications required.

WIDE RECTANGLE INTAKE SEAL: The 3.25 by 5 inch rectangle rubber ear flexes to create a watertight grip on wider intake openings. U-channel measures 9.25 inches deep and fits most standard outboard and inboard I/O engines without tools.

SIMPLE MOTOR FLUSH SETUP: Connects to any standard garden hose in seconds with the included rubber washer. Quick connect male adapter included for quick-connect hose systems. No tools or extra parts required.

PROTECT YOUR ENGINE: Saltwater trapped in engine passages causes corrosion that shortens engine life and leads to costly repairs. Flushing after every run takes minutes. Better Boat is a family owned American company based in Miami Beach, Florida.

Saltwater left in engine passages causes corrosion and buildup that shortens engine life. Flush after every run, warm the engine before heading out, and prepare for off-season storage. Motor muffs make all three tasks simple with a standard garden hose and no boat required. The Better Boat Outboard Motor Muffs use flexible rubber ears and watertight seals to simulate submerged conditions on dry land. The rotating U-channel fits most outboard and inboard I/O engines including Mercury, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Evinrude models. No tools. No modifications. Attaches to any standard garden hose in seconds. Quick connect male adapter included for quick-connect hose systems. The flexible ears pinch and seal around the intake opening for a secure fit. Rectangle style features a 3.25 by 5 inch rubber ear that flexes to grip wider, flat intake openings. Round style features a 3.7 inch diameter ear for circular intakes. Both fit a 9.25 inch U-channel. Better Boat is a family owned American company based in Miami Beach, Florida.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $4 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for Better Boat products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
