Place the silicone cup into a compatible candlestick holder, insert a compatible Shabbat or taper candle into the 17 mm center socket, then fill the outer cavity with tap water before lighting. Do not burn candles dry. As the candle burns, melting wax collects in the cup. After the candle is extinguished, allow the wax and water to cool completely. Then invert the cup, gently flex the silicone, remove the hardened wax plug, rinse, and reset for next time.
