Old Cedar Outfitters Adjustable Hardwood Gun Rack Some carbines or firearms with shorter barrels simply will not fit on a traditional gun rack. Old Cedar Outfitters series of Adjustable Gun Racks solves this problem by letting you configure your gun rack to fit any size of firearm you choose to store. The individual hooks can each adjust independently for the best placement for each individual firearm. Each firearm has its own shape and adding accessories can change the profile of the rifle. This adjustable gun rack allows you to put the hooks where you need them to securely and safely store your firearms. It also allows you to slide a firearm either left or right to accommodate the rifle below or above. Each hook is also lined with a smooth plastic liner that protects the finish of your firearm. The rack is designed with 10 predrilled points to securely mount to the wall. Four of these points line up 16" on center to take advantage of studs. However, studs aren't always where we want them; so, we have also included heavy-duty wall anchors. Each of the predrilled hole can use either the heavy-duty wall anchor or be fixed to a wall stud; so that you can use whichever mix works best for your situation. Whichever way you choose to mount your adjustable gun rack to the wall, it will mount secure and keep your firearms right where you want them. The rack itself is made from solid hard wood. We chose birch to give the rack an attractive look that could also more than stand up to the weight of three fully decked out firearms. The distance between firearms allows for not only the largest optic, but also for the drop of pistol grips.
