As an American made shoe, Oka-b takes pride in creating a shoe that is durable. Each shoe is made with a strong, patented vegan bio-based material that is machine washable and dishwasher safe. Each shoe is 100% recyclable (plastic symbol #3) and made from a blend of used shoes, scrap material, and our own proprietary bio-based material. The bio-based material contains 45% soy by weight and is BPA, latex, rubber, and phthalate-free.

At Oka-B, they believe in closed-loop recycling to reduce the use of virgin material and to keep old shoes from ending up in a landfill.
