Improved OBD2 OBD power cable: The OBD emergency power cable is primarily designed for replacing car batteries and protecting the data of the car ECU. The LUTIFIX OBD2 car battery replacement tool features an improved design that allows simultaneous display of voltage and current, as well as protection against over-voltage, over-current and reverse polarity. Important: car batteries must not be connected in parallel and the ECU must not be connected to the same battery.
Voltage and current display at the same time: The BT30 OBD emergency power supply cable has an energy management system with integrated central processor. It displays the battery voltage to prevent the use of empty batteries and thus ensure continuous power supply during battery replacement. In addition, it displays the current, which helps in detecting leaks or assessing the vehicle's static current when it is not operational.
Overvoltage and over-current protection: The OBD II car storage cable allows you to display voltage and current at the same time and has protection functions against over-current, over-voltage and reverse polarity. This OBD power cable is equipped with a 3A Fuse fuse and its shut-off protection mechanism is activated when the voltage exceeds 16V.
Battery change process: First make sure you have a fully charged replacement battery ready. Attach the power terminals firmly to the connections of the replacement battery and connect the red clamp to the positive pole and the black clamp to the negative pole. If the connection is correct, voltage data will be displayed on the screen. Next, connect the OBD interface of the device to the OBD interface of the vehicle. Once the connection is successfully established, the screen displays current data. Finally, remove the old battery from the vehicle and replace it with the new one.
Leak detection: The OBD2 car battery replacement tool can perform a preliminary evaluation of electrical leaks in the car. This is done by removing a fuse from the vehicle's fuse box and monitoring the current situation to determine if there is a leak. However, additional tools are needed for a more thorough diagnosis, as this product is intended exclusively for initial examinations.
Note: During the battery change process, make sure that the vehicle's power switch remains continuously switched off and the car doors or lights cannot be opened when no electrical devices are switched on. The operating voltage range of this device is 10 to 14 V. An alarm sounds to indicate when the voltage is <10 V or >14 V. The shut-off protection is activated when the voltage exceeds 16V.
