Description

WIFI RANGE EXTENDER, NOT A ROUTER: Connects to your existing WiFi router wirelessly and rebroadcasts the signal to extend coverage in your home. Requires an existing WiFi router and active internet service. Does not replace your router.

AC1200 DUAL-BAND WIFI 5 SPEED: Delivers up to 300Mbps on 2.4GHz and 900Mbps on 5GHz. Real-world speeds in the extended area will be lower than at your router. Ideal for HD video streaming, gaming, and connecting multiple devices in areas with weak signal.

WORKS WITH WPA2 AND WPA/WEP SECURED ROUTERS: Compatible with routers using WPA2 or WPA/WEP wireless security. If your router is WiFi 6 or newer, confirm it supports WPA2 or WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode before purchasing.

PLUG IN A GAMING CONSOLE OR STREAMING PLAYER DIRECTLY: One 10/100Mbps Ethernet port lets you connect a wired device directly to the extender for a more stable connection. Maximum wired speed is 100Mbps. This port is not Gigabit.

EXTEND WIFI COVERAGE THROUGHOUT YOUR HOME: Place midway between your router and the area with weak signal for best results. Walls, floors, and interference can reduce range. Optimal placement is 25 to 40 feet from your router.

EASY SETUP WITH WPS BUTTON OR WEB BROWSER: Press the WPS button for one-touch setup or use any web browser for guided installation. No app required. No CD required. For use in the United States only.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $12 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for NETGEAR products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
