Mellanni's Iconic Collection sheet set is third-party tested by three independent, accredited labs: Intertek, Hohenstein, and IDFL. Every claim below is tied to a named test. Breathability: Intertek (ISO 11092) rates this fabric in the top breathability tier, engineered to let heat and moisture pass through rather than trap it against the skin. Durability: IDFL abrasion testing (ISO 12947) measured 10,000+ rub cycles with no breakdown, 67% above the industry minimum. Tear strength testing (ASTM D1424) came in up to 49% above requirement. Dimensional stability testing (AATCC 135) showed shrinkage of just -0.10% after washing. Pilling resistance: IDFL testing (ASTM D4970) graded pilling resistance at 4.5 out of 5, above the 3–3.5 requirement, meaning less fuzzing and bobbling over repeated washes.
