Meinl Percussion Bongo Drums 6.75", 8" — NOT MADE IN CHINA — Open-Box, 5% Off

YOUR FOREVER BONGOS: solid construction, stays in tune, good-looking—check; these bongos are even prettier in person, and they're made with top-notch craftsmanship to enjoy playing for a long time

WHY IT MATTERS: you won't need to replace with an upgraded set later; feel proud to own bongos that are motivating to play with a professional sound and feel that lasts

CATCH UP QUICK: the hefty shells are made of 100% hardwood staves with uniform color and grain for classic warm bongo tone; the finish is NOT a glued-on veneer made to look like real wood

DRIVING THE SOUND: we use humanely sourced, hand-selected buffalo rawhide for the heads; most higher-end bongos have the same heads, so you're getting consistent, authentic sound full of warmth, depth, and clarity

HOW TO ADJUST PITCH: includes a tuning wrench to make quick adjustments or head changes; tighten the steel tension rods for a higher pitch and loosen to drop pitch (bongos come pre-tuned but may require some adjustment)

BY THE NUMBERS: the heads measure 6 3/4” and 8”; the bongos are 7 3/4" tall and weigh 9.4 lbs with a standard size hardwood connection block that fits any stand (bongo stand sold separately)

THE BOTTOM LINE: they'll do the trick anywhere like acoustic shows, studios, in praise bands, or porch jams, and it doesn't matter what your skill level is; they're easy to play whether you're a drummer or singer with no percussion experience

THE BIG PICTURE: Meinl is a family-owned musical instrument manufacturer and brand established 1951 in Germany; our expert German designers have deep relationships with our builders to ensure you're delivered the absolute finest quality
