A limited-slip collar for walking and training that helps prevent a dog from 'backing out' of its collar 3/4-inch wide, adjustable from 14 to 20-inches around There is no buckle on this collar - it is slipped on over the dogÕs head Please read the Description below to be sure this is the correct type of collar for your dog. Martingale collars help prevent a dog from backing out of its collar. When there is tension on the leash, the martingale will reduce the size of the collar by a limited amount, preventing the collar from pulling off over the head (when the collar is properly adjusted). When the leash is slack, the collar relaxes to a looser fit as determined by the adjusted size of the collar.

The Martingale Combo collar has a second D-ring which is sewn into the collar. It does not change the size of the collar as the martingale does. Attach the leash to it if the limited-slip action is not wanted or use to attach ID.

Important Safety Information: Never leave this type of collar on your dog when itÕs playing with another dog or when unattended. There is a risk of entanglement and injury. This collar should always be removed when the dog is unattended.

To determine collar size, measure snugly around the middle of the neck, then add an extra 5-percent for a comfortable fit. Also measure around the headÕs widest point, from under the jaw, over the top of the skull and back down to the start point. Be sure that the collar is large enough to go on over the head. There are two adjustable size ranges: 10-14 inches or 14-20 inches. 3/4-inch wide martingale collars are suitable for small to medium-large dogs.
