All-inclusive package – includes 6 aluminum hardscape lighting fixtures with a 10-foot low voltage lead wire, 6x 3 stainless steel mounting plates (for step, wall, and ceiling installations),6x 2 waterproof wire connectors, 6 plastic wire sleeves, and screws.

Transformer– This product requires a non-dimmable 9v-17v AC/DC transformer (not Included)

Run the wire behind the wall/step.

Place the Under cap mounting plate (come as default) on top of the wall/step and use the included PVC wire tube so that the wire will not be held by the cement or weight of the cap and the wires can move freely for future maintenance.

Use cement or masonry glue or screws to mount the plate.

Place the coping on top of the step light, making sure the light fixture is positioned flat and recessed below the cap/step.

Use the wall plate and drill 2 screws to mount the plate against the wall and make sure it’s level.

Run the wire into the wall or alongside and mount the light fixture to the wall plate and tighten the 2 screws.

Use the ceiling plate and mount it with 2 screws on the top surface.

Run the wire and assemble the light fixture to the ceiling.

If a light stops working, this design makes it easy to detach the light fixture from the mounting plate and replace it with a new one.

Remember to always consult an electrician and follow local and NEC codes for electrical safety.

Take a 9V battery and check directly to the 2 wires connected to the fixture and see if the light turns on.

If it’s working, you may have wiring issues or not enough power from the transformer.

If it’s not working, remove the fixture from the mounting plate and pull the wire (we recommend using our PVC wire sleeve for easy wire movement under the step/cap).

Cut the 2 wires from the fixture and connect the new fixture to the same mounting plate.

Connect the fixture 2 wires to the existing 2 wires comes from the transformer

It reduces the standard high-voltage 110V in your home to 12v, an easy-to-use and safe voltage. We recommend using 12V AC, although our lights can work with 9v-17v AC or DC. 2. Main low-voltage cable (not included) - This cable runs from the transformer to the last light in your line. We suggest using a thick cable, such as 10/2, 12/2, or 14/2 (10/2 is the thickest). Each hardscape light comes with a 10-foot lead wire to connect to the main line. If the lead wire is not long enough, use 16/2 or 14/2 wire to extend it to the main line. 3. Waterproof wire connectors (included) - Use the 2 included waterproof wire connectors to connect the hardscape light's lead wire to the main low-voltage line.
