✅WARNINGI: DO NOT FORCE CASE MALVES TOGETHER. 261 / 263 Units sometimes have an O-Ring on opposite slde of pump that may be removed to gain clearancel.
✅Transfer case repair for NP236, 246, 261, 263. 1, Discard factory protector clip. 2, If necessary, thoroughly clean area and repair hole(s) in pump pocket with an epoxy (such as JB Weld)or replace the case half. 3, Assemble front case half and place BRNY onto the pump.
✅Due to variances in both OEM and aftermarket manufacturing, the pump pocket may need to be modified to allow BRNY to sit flush. If you have a problem locking the snap ring, you'll have to make the rounded corner more square in the areas highlighted. Case is now protected at all 4 contact points of the pump.
