Brand: LONELY BINARY
Description
Lonely Binary 6-Pack SPI TFT LCD Display Kit — One Box, Six Sizes, Endless Projects
Stop buying displays one at a time and hoping you picked the right size for your project. This kit gives yousix SPI color TFT displays in every common maker size— from a tiny 0.96"" sensor readout to a vibrant 3.5"" IPS dashboard — packed into a single storage case with all the cables and headers you need.
Six Display Sizes — One for Every Project
- 0.96"" (160 × 80)— Sensor readouts, status indicators, wearables
- 1.8"" (128 × 160)— Portable devices, compact data displays
- 2.0"" (240 × 320)— Small dashboards, control panels
- 2.4"" (240 × 320)— Interactive UI, weather stations, retro games
- 2.8"" (240 × 320)— Larger interfaces, robotics dashboards
- 3.5"" IPS (320 × 480)— Main displays, smart home panels, full GUI projects
Two Ways to Connect — Choose What Works for You
Method 1 — Plug-and-Play with FPC Cable (No Soldering)
Every display features a pre-soldered 15-pin FPC connector that plugs directly into Lonely Binary expansion boards (such as the PinPulse Shield) using the included ribbon cables. Insert the cable, load your code, and you're displaying — no soldering, no jumper wire mess, no pin mapping confusion.
Method 2 — Traditional Wiring with Pin Headers
Prefer a breadboard or Dupont wires? The kit includes both straight and right-angle pin headers. Solder them onto the display's 2.54mm header pads and wire the standard 4-wire SPI interface (CS, DC, RST, MOSI, SCLK + BL, VCC, GND) to any 3.3V microcontroller. Basic soldering skills required for this method.
⚠️ Important — 3.3V Logic Only
These displays operate at3.3V logic levels. Connecting them directly to a 5V microcontroller (such as UNO, Mega, or Nano classic)will damage the display. If you're using a 5V board, please add a logic level converter (sold separately) between your MCU and the display. ESP32, for Raspberry Pi Pico, and other modern 3.3V boards work directly with no converter needed.
Works with Any 3.3V SPI Microcontroller
- ESP32, ESP32-S3, ESP32-C3, ESP32-S2
- for Raspberry Pi Pico & for Pico 2 (RP2040 / RP2350)
- for Raspberry Pi (all models via GPIO)
- STM32 (F1 / F4 / H7 series and others)
- nRF52 series & Seeed XIAO boards
- Teensy 4.x
- BBC Micro:bit (with 3.3V SPI)
- Any other SPI-capable 3.3V MCU
Free Online Tutorials — C++ & MicroPython
Skip the frustration of guessing wiring diagrams and hunting for libraries. Free online tutorials cover:
- C++ setup— wiring diagrams, library installation, working example sketches
- MicroPython guide— driver setup and ready-to-run examples for each display size
- Library compatibility— tested with TFT_eSPI, LovyanGFX, and standard MicroPython st7789 / st7735 drivers
- Project examples— sensor dashboards, retro game UI, weather stations, IoT status panels
