Made from Renewable Corn: Made from PBAT+PLA (that’s fancy talk for cornstarch polymers), our tall kitchen plant based trash bags 13 gallon avoid adding harmful plastic waste to the environment and reduces support for its manufacture. Help us promote the adoption and normalization of renewable resources as sustainable alternatives to plastic. Best Practices: To maintain the strength of your compostable bags, store the box in a clean, dry place. Drain excess liquid from waste before putting it in the bag. Empty the trash can within three days to prevent decomposition of the bag. Kompostables Biodegradable Garbage Bags, 13+ Gallon Tall Kitchen

Our Bags vs Other ""Green"" Bags
Kompostables are made thicker, more durable and more resistant to heat than other kitchen compost bags on the market. They're rated for composting at home – not just industrial facilities. What's more, they're fragrance free for sensitive noses, and your garden. Lastly, they come in convenient (and cute) pink boxes for easy storage in your cabinet, instead of messy rolls sure to unravel.

Home Compostable vs. Industrially Compostable: What It Means
We're not the only eco-friendly trash bag on the market, but we are the only truly heavy duty 13 gallon bag that's BPI certified compostable at home. This means you can load it with food scraps from your kitchen, or leaf waste from the yard, and throw it in your compost pile. In six months or less, it will have broken down into an organic matter you can use throughout your garden as natural fertilizer.

Who They're Made For
