The kafkof 599-217 climate control module is a dashboard replacement control panel for listed Chevrolet Express, Chevrolet Kodiak, Chevrolet Astro, GMC Savana, GMC Topkick, and GMC Safari applications. The package includes one black control panel and three replacement control knobs. This panel is built with an ABS housing, circuit board structure, black finish, clear backlight layout, and plug and play installation type, restoring the dashboard appearance and full HVAC function To reduce fitment uncertainty, compare your original part number with 599-217, 15073274, 15130959, 15191308, 15773678, or 15858578. Also confirm your year, make, model, trim, body style, and AC control panel style before ordering. This part is a replacement control panel. If your vehicle issue comes from a separate AC, blower, wiring, compressor, actuator, or fuse component, replacing the panel may not solve that separate issue. Confirm the failed component before purchase. FAQ Q: What vehicles does this 599-217 climate control module fit? A: It fits the listed Chevrolet and GMC applications, including Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana model ranges. Confirm your exact year, trim, and dashboard panel style before purchase. Q: Which replacement part numbers are supported? A: Supported replace numbers are 599-217, 15073274, 15130959, 15191308, 15773678, and 15858578. Q: What is included in the package? A: The package includes one black control panel and three replacement control knobs. Q: How is this climate control module built for daily driving durability? A: It features a high-grade ABS outer housing paired with an upgraded circuit board structure, finished in classic black with clear backlit markers. This design ensures both factory-style interior matching and crisp nighttime visibility without flickering. Q: Do I need special tools or wiring modifications to install this module? A: No special wiring is needed. Designed as a direct factory replacement, it plugs straight into your existing dashboard connector for a quick, plug-and-play setup. Q: How can I make sure this module fixes my HVAC issue before ordering? A: First, double-check that your OEM replacement number and vehicle year/trim match this unit. Second, ensure the problem lies within the control module itself—if issues are caused by a faulty blower motor resistor or broken vacuum lines, replacing the panel alone may not solve the problem.

Common questions about buying open-box and refurbished.

Why buy refurbished or open-box?

Refurbished and open-box products offer the same performance as new at a fraction of the price. You're already saving $4 on this listing. They've been inspected, tested, and are ready to use — the only difference is the price tag. Buying refurbished also reduces electronic waste, extending product life cycles and keeping functional devices out of landfills.

What's the difference between open-box and refurbished?

Open-box products are customer returns that have been inspected and confirmed functional. They may show little to no use — often the item was returned simply because the buyer changed their mind. Refurbished products have been professionally repaired or restored by technicians, tested to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and sometimes come with a warranty. Both are a smart alternative to buying new.

Why use OpenBoxFox?

Finding refurbished deals is time-consuming — you'd have to check Amazon Warehouse, Reebelo, Dyson Outlet, and others separately for kafkof products. OpenBoxFox aggregates these listings in one place, so you can compare and find the best deal without the legwork. We update pricing daily so you always see current availability and real savings.

Is it safe to buy refurbished?

Yes. Products listed on OpenBoxFox come from established retailers like Amazon, Reebelo, and Dyson — not unknown third-party sellers. Each retailer has buyer protection policies, return windows, and in some cases warranties. You get the price advantage of used goods with the purchase security of a known retailer.
