This lens hood is designed for the Nikon NIKKOR Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR / NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S lens. It helps prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. It is crafted from ABS plastic material and features a non-glare matte finish on the interior surface to limit lens flare further. It allows you to put on a 77mm filter and lens cap. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of extra protection from accidental impact. The lens hood can be placed backward over the lens for more compact storage. The JJC LH-HB114 replaces NIK. HB-1142 lens hood. No vignetting will show with the hood on.
