𝐋𝐨𝐰 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞: The plunger requires a low closing force to actuate the drop bar seal. This feature ensures that the door closes smoothly and quietly without any jerks or vibrations. The "L" at the end of all product numbers stands for Low closing force, indicating that the product is designed for smooth and quiet operation.

𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬: End plates are provided for all mounting applications. These end plates ensure that the automatic door bottom is securely mounted to the door, providing stability and durability.

𝐍𝐞𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡: All JELOSTONE Automatic Door Bottoms are provided in net length, which means that they are provided in their full length without any trimming. Stock length automatic door bottoms can be trimmed to fit specific door sizes, however, maximum cut should not be closer than 1-1/2" close from set screw. The set screw is located at the opposite (non-plunger) end. This means that the 42-inch ADB can be shortened to a minimum length of 35-7/8 inches (911 mm) after cutting.

The JELOSTONE COmmercial Automatic Door Bottom consists of an aluminum case that houses a movable drop-bar seal. This drop-bar seal is activated by a plunger that contacts the door jamb as the door is closing. When the door begins to close, the plunger engages with the jamb, which in turn forces the drop-bar seal down against the floor or threshold.  This mechanism ensures a tight seal between the door and the floor, preventing air and drafts from passing under the door. It also helps to maintain a controlled environment by keeping out dust, insects, and other unwanted elements. The smooth action of the drop-bar seal ensures that the door closes and opens quietly and without any jerks or vibrations.  This type of automatic door bottom is commonly used in high-traffic areas where a tight seal and smooth operation are required, such as in clean rooms, laboratories, hospitals, and industrial facilities.
