Jean Paul Student Tenor Saxophone TS-400 - Golden Brass Lacquered — Open-Box, 16% Off

WIND INSTRUMENTS FOR THE PEOPLE: Jean Paul's mission is to make music more accessible to the world. The TS-400 is designed to support students as they develop their skills, offering dependable performance and lasting durability for lessons, rehearsals, and performances. Built with long-term use in mind, it is an excellent choice for advancing musicians and school music programs.

THE TENOR VOICE STUDENTS GROW INTO: The TS-400 is a true student-to-intermediate tenor: the deeper, fuller voice students reach for as they move up from alto, and the warm, full-bodied tone alto players step into when they want a horn for jazz combo, big band, or school concert work. The yellow brass body gives the TS-400 the resonance the tenor register is known for.

NAPBIRT-CERTIFIED SETUP IN THE U.S.: Every TS-400 is set up and play-tested by a NAPBIRT-certified technician in the U.S. before it ships. Pad seating, key heights, spring tension, cork heights, and regulation across linked keys are all dialed in before the horn leaves the warehouse. The TS-400 plays its first note in tune, not after a paid setup at the local repair shop.

TAN LEATHER PADS WITH DOMED METAL RESONATORS: Tan leather pads with domed metal resonators give the TS-400 the projection and tonal core students need to be heard in section work. Solid rib construction reinforces the body against the daily flex and pressure of student life, and blue steel springs deliver the consistent key response practice depends on.

STUDENT-FRIENDLY DETAILS: The high F# auxiliary key extends the upper register into the territory intermediate repertoire and jazz solos demand. The adjustable thumb rest fits the full range of hand sizes, the key buttons are mother-of-pearl, and hand-engraved detail runs across the bell, bell lip, and bow.
