Assembly Instructions: Take the Cutter Mattock blade and slide it over the bottom (thin) end of the handle, ensuring that the cutter and adze are curved up toward the bottom of the handle While holding the bottom end of the handle, hit the wide end of the handle straight down onto a smooth concrete surface Repeat these forceful blows until the head is firmly secured around the wide end of the handle REMINDER: During use you must occasionally check to ensure that the head is still tight.
